Profile:
Mr. Le Van Khuong serves as Director of The Assistance Centre for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) under Agency for Enterprise Development, Ministry of Planning & Investment (MPI) that is responsible for SMEs supporting, incubating and business creation.
He achieved a Master degree on Business Administration from Business School, National Economics University (NEU) and now Ph.D candidate on Economic Development from NEU. His current researches involve studies of SMEs policies, industrial clusters, global value chain, business incubation, business start-up, etc. He is also a visiting lecturer at Academy of Policy & Development (APD, MPI) and Business Administration Faculty of Foreign Trade University (FTU).
Over past 7 years, He performed as Head of SME Policy Section providing SME supporting policies, and being a team-leader in drafting SME supporting Law that approved year 2017 by Viet Nam Parliament. This Law is to create favorable conditions and opportunities for potential SMEs in selected sectors to form competing enterprises on the advantages of Vietnam in the integration process.
Moreover, he engaged himself in coordinating projects funded by European Union for developing Vietnam Private-Public Service Support Progamme for the contribution to business incubation and provincial capacity improvement in Vietnam.
He develops various projects for SMEs including value chains for SME development in Viet Nam; the management of private business groups in Viet Nam; policy for developing supporting industry to promote SMEs in Viet Nam; enterprises in the context of international economic integration etc.
He devotes his career with the aim for the development of Vietnamese enterprises.
